Brian Moore is a native of North Alabama, having spent the first ten years of his life in Russellville. His family moved to Montgomery, where he attended AU Montgomery, majoring in American Government. Brian furthered his studies at AU Montgomery, earning a Masters Degree in Public Administration. He put these degrees to work early in his career, serving as the Commissioner for the Alabama Medicaid Agency. Deciding to add to his education, Brian attended the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 1989, and his advanced law degree (LLM) in Tax in 2011 from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Brian’s early service with the Alabama Medicaid Agency enabled him to see a need for attorneys assisting the elderly and infirm. He opened his private practice in Montgomery in 1993, where he focused on Elder Law, Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning, Guardianships and Conservatorships. During this time Brian met his wife, Ximena, a native of Colombia. In assisting Ximena in obtaining her U.S. Citizenship, Brian recognized a need in the legal community in the field of Immigration Law. Brian truly enjoys helping people plan for the future, whether through estate planning or assistance with the immigration process.
Brian recently moved to Huntsville, and has now joined Grace, Matthews & Debro, bringing his special set of legal skills. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, exploring North Alabama, attending their local church and various sporting events, including his daughter’s tennis matches.
